Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" is eclipsing even Regina George's popularity, as the Mean Girls-inspired music video has gone on to break massive records across digital streaming platforms.

The clip -- which features faithful recreations of several Mean Girls scenes, along with some from Bring It On13 Going on 30 and Legally Blonde -- already broke the record for simultaneous viewers for a YouTube premiere thanks to the 829,000 people who watched Grande and company bend and snap at the same time.

But now "thank u, next" has racked up another achievement: it's officially broken the record for most views on a YouTube video in 24 hours. Grande's visual boasts an astounding total of 47 million views and counting, blowing past the benchmark previously established by BTS, whose "Idol" video reached 45 million views in the 24 hours preceding its debut back in August.

"thank u, next" is on track to break Vevo's record and clear 50 million views by the time its first 24 hours are up. Grande is understandably thrilled about this.

Ariana Grande has been mourning the death of her ex-partner, Mac Miller. Her team had revealed that the singer was taking some time away from the public eye to "heal." Grande, who also deals with mental health issues like anxiety and PTSD, seems to have channeled her struggles into the booth. Within 2 months of releasing her last studio album Sweetener, the entertainer is already teasing new music.

The pop star tweeted a short clip of a new song. Here are some of the lyrics that could be heard blaring from the studio in her most recognizable vocal tone.

I should but I don’t give no fucks… I obsessively love too hard.
I can be needy, why so damn needy? I can be needy, tell me how good it feels to be needy.
I can be needy, so hard to please me, lie down it feels so good to be needed.
